William M. Haynes, age 90, of Edwardsville, Illinois, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois. He was born in Edwardsville, the son of the late William M. & Gladys (Gilleland) Haynes. William worked for Arthur Andersen LLP in St. Louis, Missouri, in their service center for many years. He is survived by two sisters, Linnea Izzo & husband Tom of Collinsville, Carole Pulliam & husband Daniel of Warsaw, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews.
William served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, he received the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal for his service.
A private family burial was held at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon. Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville was in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be expressed online at weberfuneralhome.com.
