Patricia Panzier

Patricia E. Panzier 60, of Bethalto passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton.  She was born June 27, 1960 in Alton to Carl Hendricks Sr and Pauline H. (Winfrey) Hendricks.  She married David Panzier II March 19, 1988; he survives.  Patty was a professor at Alvarita's School of Cosmetology for 20 years before becoming a hearing monitor for the Social Security Disability Office.  In her free time she enjoyed traveling, shopping, talking with friends and family and special trips to Tunica.  She was an avid animal lover and stood up for animal rights.  She was involved in many animal rescues.

She is survived by a son, Jordan Panzier of Bethalto; two daughters, Brandy (Darrell) Bangent-Pruett of Meadowbrook and Tristan Panzier of Bethalto; two grandchildren she loved and adored, Hazel and Harlowe Graves; brother, William Hendricks of Bethalto; sister, Barbara Davis of Bethalto; sister-in-law, Debbie Hendricks of Mt. Olive; many close nieces and nephews and her three fur babies, Harley, Wizzy and Bama.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Carl Hendricks Jr; sister, JoAnn Hendricks; first grandchild, Phoenix Graves; brother in law, Gary Davis; lifelong friend, Tracy Vander-Brickmore and he fur baby, Kitty-Hun.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto. Covid 19 restrictions will be followed.
