Raymond L. Mormino, 81, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at his home.
Born Dec. 26, 1939, in Alton, he was a son of Angelo and Susie I. (Ederatti) Mormino.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and worked as a machinist for Owens-Illinois in Godfrey for 42 years. He loved hunting with his dad and his friends, and especially enjoyed trap and skeet shooting.
Raymond and Joyce Andrews were married June 16, 1962, at the former St. Kevin's Catholic Church in Rosewood Heights. She survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Chris (Jeff) Heffner of Bethalto and Claudia (Brett) Frazier of Godfrey; a son, Nick (Sandy) Mormino of Rosewood Heights; and three grandchildren, Austin Heffner, Seth Mormino, and Nolan Frazier.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Sam Mormino.
Private family services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
