Katherine D. “Kathe” Schneider, age 64, of Dorsey, Illinois died at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at her home.
Kathe was a Licensed Practical Nurse having worked at Anna Henry Nursing Home and Anderson Hospital. She was born February 28, 1954, in Litchfield, Illinois the daughter of the late Margaret (Dukas) Duncan and Charles Duncan of Litchfield. She married Jeffrey Schneider on March 18, 1978, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Edwardsville.
Besides her father and husband, she is survived by 1 sister, Cindy Bollinger of Goreville, Illinois. Kathe was a graduate of Edwardsville High School in 1972. Kathe was cremated according to her wishes.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 1, 2019 at the Elmwood Cemetery in Litchfield, with Rev. Randy Butler officiating.
Memorials may be given to the Shriners Children’s Hospital or BJC Hospice in care of Weber & Rodney Funeral Home at 304 N. Main Street, Edwardsville, IL 62025.
