Adam Allen Heyen, 15, of Plainview, passed away at 10:34 pm on Wed May 31, 2017 at St John’s Hospital in Springfield from injuries sustained from an ATV accident He was born on Jan 20, 2002 in Litchfield, IL to his parents Eddie & Amy (Hauschild) Heyen of Plainview.  He is survived by his parents, sister, Evelyn Lee Heyen of Plainview, maternal grandparents, Leo & Karen Hauschild of Dorchester and paternal grandparents, Gerald Sr & Shirley Heyen of Shipman.Adam was a student at Southwestern High School and a member of the FFA. He loved to rifle, archery, work on cars, building models, fishing, trapping, hunting, showing projects in 4-H and building with Legos.He was a Jr member of the American Poultry Association, Jr member of the American Rabbit Breeders Association, 4-H Shipman Clovers, and Macoupin 4-H Topshots. He was awarded the Southwestern FFA Greenhand Degree. He placed 20th in the state 4-H rifle shoot and placed superior in the state 4-H food show.. He was a Cardinal’s fan and enjoyed working on his Dodge Dart with his Dad, caring for rabbits and chickens with his Mom and Sister. Visitation will be from noon to 2 pm on Wed Aug 15, 2018 at the Shipman United Methodist Church   Funeral Services will be at 2 pm on Wed Aug 15, 2018 at the Shipman United Methodist Church with Rev Toby Curtright officiating       Burial will be in Shipman Cemetery Memorial may be made to the Southwestern FFA, Macoupin County 4-H or a fund for Evelyn’s schooling at CNB Bank & Trust
