Beverly Theesfeld

Beverly Jean Theesfeld, age 88, of Godfrey, Illinois formerly of Galva, Illinois passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018, 3:00 p.m. at Integrity Healthcare in Godfrey.She was born on December 13, 1929 in Galva and was the daughter of the late Henry and Nola (nee: McClure) Theesfeld.A graduate of Galva High School, she was a devoted Christian and a member of Grace Methodist Church in Galva.  She later attended First Methodist Church in Galesburg.She was employed at Houghton Lumber Company and later worked at Burlington Truck Lines in Galesburg until the company relocated to Colorado Springs, she decided to move to Colorado to maintain her position.  She later decided to move back to Galesburg to be near family and friends whom she enjoyed writing letters to them.She is survived and will be greatly missed by:Two sisters; Pat Anderson of Wisconsin and Betty Baldwin of Godfrey, Illinoisa brother; Dale Theesfeld of South Carolina and many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by 3 brothers; Alan, Norman and Larry Theesfeld and 3 sisters; Lois Theesfeld, Dorothy Hilton and Virginia Wyman.In accordance to her wishes, there will be no visitation and cremation rites will be accorded.Services will be held at a later date and interment will be in Galva Cemetery in Galva, Illinois.Elias-Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey is in charge of arrangements.An on-line guest book may be found at www.eliaskallalschaaf.com
