Marie Ryan

JERSEYVILLE - Marie LoVerne Ryan, 88, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018. She was born in Alton on November 21, 1929 to the late William and Andora (Pinkowski) McKiffin and grew up in Dow, the oldest of five children, who preceded her in death. Her first marriage to Robert Edwin Griesemer of Rosedale gave her two sons; Robert E. Griesemer and William G. Griesemer. The two later divorced  and she married John M. Ryan of Granite City, both of whom preceded her in death. Marie was blessed to have spent the Holidays with her two sons, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. There will be a private graveside service held in early summer and a Celebration of Life Memorial open to all family and friends (details to be published at a later date). Memorials may be given in her memory to the Riverbend Humane Society in Jerseyville, in care of Crawford Funeral Home.
