Alvera Brass

Alvera Elizabeth Brass, 87, died at 4:35 p.m. Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Rosewood Care Center in Alton. Born December 5, 1930 in Alton, she was the daughter of Peter and Agnes (Poeling) Coffler. Mrs. Brass was a homemaker and a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Godfrey. She married Carl J. Brass in Alton. He preceded her in death. Surviving is a daughter, Barbara Burk of Alton and a cousin, Mary Lou Sutton. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
