Darrell Furlow, 53, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 11:17 pm at his residence.
He was born on February 6, 1965 in Alton, IL, the son of Elmer “Pete” and Emma “Maxine” (Gossett) Furlow, both survive. Darrell married Amanda Asbury in Bethalto, IL on June 10, 2017, she survives.
Darrell was a member of the American Deaf Biker Club and Zion Lutheran Church in Bethalto.
Along with his wife and parents, Darrell is survived by 4 children, Taylor Furlow of Bethalto, Maddison Lynn Furlow of Meadowbrook, Avery Jane Furlow of Meadowbrook, and Preston Jay Furlow of Meadowbrook; 2 sisters, Nona (John) Hohnsbehn of Litchfield, Janis (Joseph) Penning of Woodbridge, VA; 2 brothers, Brian (Beauton) Furlow, and Neal (Monica) Furlow of Rosewood Heights; mother-in-law, Janet Asbury; father-in-law, Andy Asbury; brother-in-law, James Grieve; as well as many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 4 to 8 pm, and funeral service will be Friday, March 30, 2018, at 11 am where Pastor Meyer will officiate, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto. Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto is in charge of all arrangements.
