Royce L. Tucker, 62, passed away at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Integrity Healthcare of Wood River.
Born Aug. 16, 1955 in Wood River, he was the son of Weldon Tucker, Jr. and June Marie (Eades) Tucker.
A 1973 graduate of East Alton-Wood River High School, Royce worked as a stocker for Shop ‘n Save in Edwardsville. He also had worked for Olin Corp. and Eden Village. He enjoyed fishing, camping and bowling.
Survivors include two sisters, Rebecca L. Pavish of Wood River and Rachelle (John) Gilham of St. Louis, MO; nieces and nephews, Nathan Pavish, Louise (Pat) McDill, John Tucker (Brandy) Gilham, and Doug Gilham; and several great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be at Paynic Home for Funerals on Friday, March 16 from 11 a.m. until services begin at 1 p.m.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
