Shirley Jane Forsythe, 80, died at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born February 17, 1937 in Eddyville, KY, she was the daughter of Dot and Allie (Hurley) Hudson. On April 21, 1960 she married Bill Forsythe in Shawnee town, IL. He survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Sherri McBride (Ed) of Alton, two sons, Randy Forsythe (Kathy) of Dallas, TX, and Terry Forsythe of Godfrey, four grandchildren, Dustin Ryan Snyder, Lindsey Snyder, Brandon Forsythe, and Lauren Forsythe, one brother, Teddy Hudson of Paducah, KY, and two sisters, Pat Freeman of Eddyville, KY, and Kay Holt of Booz, KY. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Julian and Walter Hudson and a sister, Margaret Bridges. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
