Rand William Hill, 73, passed away 5:35 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2018 at Rosewood Care Center in Alton.
Born May 19, 1944 in Alton, he was the son of William, Jr., and Fern (Wathern) Hill.
He had worked as an inspector for McDonell-Douglas Aircraft before retiring. Rand was a member of Wood River Masoic Lodge and Ainad Shriner's Lodge in East St.Louis.
Surviving are a sister, Shelly (Roddy) Grover of East Alton; two nieces; three great niephews; a great niece; and great great niece.
Visitation will be from 9a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., Tuesday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Rev. Dale Wathern will officiate.
Private burial will be in Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
