E. Eileen Heeren, 92, died at 9:18 p.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at New Florence Care Center in New Florence, MO. She was born December 12, 1925 in Standard City, IL the daughter of late Henry Raymond and Gladys (Ward) Newberry. She managed the Grace Gardens Senior Apartments in O’Fallon, MO, had been an employment counselor for the State of Illinois in Alton and was a tour guide for many years. Eileen was a member of the Chapel of the Cross Lutheran Church in St. Peters, MO. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Charles E. Little and Harold U. Heeren. Surviving are four daughters, Linda Lou Logsdon of Tulsa, OK, Sheila Charleen Shive of St. Peters, MO, Pamela Baird of Grovetown, Georgia and Debbie Borawski of Arnold, MO, six grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, her siblings, Florence Gibson, Cecil Newberry, Monty Newberry, Gene Newberry and Susan Basin. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Burial will be at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey with Pastor Mark Hoehner and Pastor Greg Billbruck officiating.
