Regina Lynn Pollard, 67, passed away at 10:12 pm on January 9, 2018, at St. Anthony’s Hospital, in Alton, Illinois.
She was born on December 30, 1950 in Wood River, Illinois, the daughter of the late Everett Pollard and the late Fern (Garrison) Smith. Regina was formerly married to Darrell Forsythe, Sr, who survives.
Regina enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to the Argosy Belle Casino playing the slots, painting, cross stitching, and working puzzles.
She is survived by 2 children, Tracy Lynn (Darin) Forsythe-Teems of Rosewood Heights and Darrell “Bam” (Theresa) Forsythe, Jr of Alton; 6 grandchildren, Jessica, Joey, Jordan, Josh, Taylor, and Dylan; 4 great grandchildren, Aiden, Landon, Gage and Addalyn; and 4 sisters, Theresa, Linda, Cathy and Veda.
Regina is also preceded in death by 4 brothers, David, Carl, Wayne and Steve.
Visitation will be from 3 pm until time of service at 6 pm, Tuesday, January, 16, 2018, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to Mid America Transplant and/or American Cancer Society Local Chapter.
