Thomas Williams, Jr. was born January 24, 1942 in West Memphis, Arkansas to the union of the late Thomas and Margaret (Allen) Williams, Sr. She survives.
He graduated from Wonder High School in West Memphis, Arkansas. He served as a United States solider in the Vietnam War. Thomas retired from Olin after many years of employment.
Mr. Williams married the former Asie Yarbrough of Jackson, TN. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and gardening.
On January 9, 2018 at 6:15 a.m., Thomas Williams, Jr. transitioned peacefully at Touchette Regional Hospital. He was blessed with 75 years.
Left to celebrate wonderful memories: his wife, Asie of Alton; mother, Margaret Foster of Wynn, AR; 7 children, Shun, Kim, Cynthia, Darla, Dawn, Candis(James) Newsome, Jr., and Starla (Raymando) Alexander; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 siblings, Mary (Bernard) Lane of West Memphis, AR and James Foster of Alton; a special friend, Walter “Lightening” Price; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
