Paul J. McGinnis, 79, passed away at 9:10 pm Friday, December 15, 2017 at Calhoun Nursing and Rehab.
He was born on September 2, 1938 in Hudson Falls, New York, the son of Edward and Rilla (Havens) McGinnis.
Paul married Betty (Retzer) Lorsbach McGinnis on July 7, 1997 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Jerseyville.
He was a member of St. Norbert’s Catholic Church in Hardin. Paul was a member of the American Legion, the Knights of Columbus, and was an avid golfer. He was a loving Husband, Dad and Grandpa.
He is survived by three children and spouses, Robin (Mark) Baalman, Chip (Tiara) Lorsbach, and Sandra (Mick) Eller; five grandchildren, David, Jason, Mary, Dylan, and Hannah; three sisters, Phyllis, Marilyn, and Susan.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four brothers Bob, Edward, Dick, and Jack, and two sisters, Peggy and Helen.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Sunday December 17, 2017 at Gress, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Hardin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am Monday December 18, 2017 at St. Norbert’s Catholic Church in Hardin. Father Don Roberts as Celebrant.
Burial will follow at St. Norbert’s Cemetery in Hardin with Full Military Rites.
Memorials may be made to the Calhoun Nursing and Rehab Activity Fund or St. Norbert’s School.
