Ethel Fensterman

Ethel M. Fensterman, age 93 of Alton, Illinoispassed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, 4:40 a.m.at Bethalto Care Center in Bethalto, Illinois.She was born September 20, 1923 in Alton and was the daughter of theLate Emmanuel and Mary (nee: Mueller) Lanham.Prior to retirement, she was employed many years in  bookkeeping andaccounting .Survivors includeTwo daughters; Ruth Cox of Bethaltoand Teresa (Melvin) Phillips of  Chesapeake, VA.a son; Carl (Susan) Treadway of Brighton, IL.8 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildrenOther extended family and friends.In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death byher three husbands, Lonel Treadway, William Bridges and Carl Fensterman,a sister;  Mae Roderfield and by a brother;  Leo Lanham.

Visitation will be Friday, July 21, 2017, atSt. Ambrose Catholic Church in Godfrey from 9:30 a.m.until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. with Father Steven Janoski as Celebrant.Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemtery in Godfrey.
Memorials may be made to a memorial fund of one’s choice.
