Josie Kay (Stizes) Gaunt, 29, of South Roxana passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was born November 28, 1987 in Alton, IL. She married Timothy Gaunt May 17, 2003.
She is survived by her husband Tim Gaunt of South Roxana; son, Cashtion Gaunt, five daughters, Jaden, Serinety, Jasmine, Trinity and Pamela Gaunt; mother Rhonda (Pauley) Curtis of South Roxana; three brothers, Clayton Sitzes of South Roxana, Jacob Gleason of Cottage Hills and Dalton Sitzes of South Roxana; two sisters, Jackie Lynn Sitzes of South Roxana and Jasmine Upspring of Brighton; maternal grandparents, Dale and Linda Pauley of Meadowbrook; sisters in law, Melissa and Tracy and brother in law, Eric.
She was preceded in death by her father, Basil Leonard Sitzes III and fraternal grandparents, Basil and Mikki Sitzes.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 12 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights. Burial will follow at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
