Dolores C. DeAngelo, 80, died at 3:25 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Bethalto Care Center. Born April 27, 1936 in Tacoma, WA, she was the daughter of Andrew and Flora (Hoffman) Diamond. On September 1, 1956 she married Ernest L. DeAngelo in Merced, CA. Together they owned and operated DeAngelo Cleaners and Temple Cleaners. Ernest preceded her in death on May 8, 2013. Surviving is a daughter, Marie (Brian) Elliott of Godfrey, a son, Tony (Pamela) DeAngelo of Shiloh, IL, four grandchildren, Brian (Molly) Elliott, Matthew (Amanda) Elliott, Brianna (Brandon) Nitz, and Nicholas DeAngelo, and six great grandchildren. A memorial visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to BJC Hospice.
