Karen Byrley

Karen L. Byrley, 46, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, April 19, 2017.She was born on December 12, 1970, in Alton, Illinois, the daughter of Raymond and Marilyn (Whitaker) Byrley.Karen had a kind heart and was always willing to help someone in need. Her passion in life was caring for animals, especially her dog Bailey. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.Survivors include her father of Bethalto; two sisters, Lori Reams of Wood River, Lisa Reifsteck and her husband Charlie of Edwardsville; and her nieces and nephews, Austin, Alex, Samantha, and Allyson.She was preceded in death by her mother.A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.A private graveside service will be held at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.Memorials may be given to 5A’s.Online condolences can be given at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com
