Scot "Whitey" Emerick, 56, passed away 6:05 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Alton on November 24, 1960, he was the son of Leon G. and Dorothy (Humerick) Emerick.
He had been employed at Wood River Printing for 30 years and also at the Wood River Knights of Columbus Hall.
On May 4, 1991 in Wood River, he married Jane Wooten. She survives.
Surviving also are two brothers, Stan (Jo) Emerick of Chesterfield, MO and Sean (Tish) Emerick of Bethalto.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m until time of funeral mass at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 1 at Holy Angels Parish Church in Wood River. Father Donald Wolford will officiate.
Burial will follow in Woodland Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the family in care of expenses.
