Lawrence “Larry” A. McLagan, 70, passed away at 10:10 pm on Thursday October 27, 2016 at Willow Rose Rehab in Jerseyville.
He was born on March 23, 1946 in St. Louis, the son of the late John and Elta “Cele” (Thaxton) McLagan.
He married Amelia Serena on September 28, 1974 in Alton. She survives.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters Elizabeth McLagan of St. Charles, Mo and Lisa Hayes of St. Charles, Mo; a son Christopher (Carol) McLagan of Florissant, MO; nine grandchildren Jennifer, Joshua, Arianna, Jared, Ashley, Jamie, Arin, Gracie and Jackson.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother John McLagan.
Visitation will be from 1 pm to 4 pm Sunday October 30, 2016 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton.
Funeral service will be at 10 am Monday October 31, 2016 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton with Rev. Charles West officiating.
Burial will follow at Bellefontaine Cemetery in St. Louis.
