Terry A. Butler, 56, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, ending his courageous fight against cancer.

He was born on January 13, 1960 in St. Louis, the son of the late Edward L. and Adele F. (Kehoe) Butler.

Terry worked at Argosy Gaming as a Pit Boss Supervisor for more than 25 years; an employee from the Alton Belle’s initial opening. He was “Mr. B” to all who worked with him. The affection and respect they shared provided him a loving extended family which brought him much joy and support.

Terry’s interests included following seasonal sports, gardening, float trips, day trips and the overall enjoyment of the outdoors. He was a “picker” attending auctions and enjoyed resale shops and yardsales. He inherited his value of bargains.

(Sharon) Butler of Jerseyville; nephews, Jason E. Butler of Maumee, OH, Adam R.
