Joybelle Ruebhausen

Joybelle Ruebhausen, age 89, of Edwardsville, Illinois died at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at SanGabriel Care Center in Highland, Illinois. Joybelle worked as a secretary in the Madison County Assessor’s office in Edwardsville. She was born November 6, 1926, in Edwardsville the daughter of the late Tony & Antonia (Yindrak) Jones. She married Robert “Bob” V. Ruebhausen on September 21, 1946, in Edwardsville. Besides her husband, Bob she is survived by a son, Ronnie Ruebhausen& wife Lori of Highland; 2 grandchildren, ErinHoepfner& husband Ryan of Grantfork&Dr. Michael Ruebhausen of Springfield; 2 great grandchildren, Matthew & Clara Hoepfner; and 1 sister, Dorothy Logan of Marrietta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by 1 son, Gary Ruebhausen. Visitation will be from 10 am until 12 noon Monday, August 29, 2016, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home with Rev. Karla Frost officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon. Family requests memorials to Hospice of Southern Illinois or St. John United Church of Christ in Granite City.
