David Cain

David Cain, 76, passed away at 3:55 am Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Memorial East Hospital in Shiloh, IL.He was born September 29, 1939, in Blytheville, Arkansas, to the late Carl and Valerie (McDaniel) Cain. David worked as a teacher at Civic Memorial High School in Bethalto.He is survived by six children and their spouses, Mark and Starla Cain of Bethalto, Keith and Donna Cain of Alton, Alan and Robyn Cain of Bethalto, Bruce Cain of Medora, Jon and Mary Cain of Moro, Shari and Tina Cain of Fairview Heights; six grandchildren, Tyler, Jordan, Ethan, Delaney, Matthew, and Josephine Cain; one brother and his wife, Gary and Karen Cain; and a sister in law Dorothy Cain.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Bill Cain.Visitation will be from 1 pm to 4 pm on Sunday, July 24, 2016, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.A private family burial will take place at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens at a later date.Cremation rites will be accorded.Memorials may be made to the Lewis and Clark Scholarship Fund.An online condolence and guest book may be found at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com
