Catherine D. Johnson, 53, passed away 8:20 a.m. Thursday, july 10, 2014 at her residence
Born in St. Louis on August 20, 1960, she was the daughter of Bill and Lavern (Durbin) Moore.
She was married to John Johnson, who survives
Surviving also are two daughters, Laura Moore, Jamie Johnson; an adopted son, Demitrius Neal; stepchildren, John, Jr., Johnathan, John Viron and Janette Johnson; God-child, Cherelle Ducksworth; nine grandchildren; two brorthers, John and James Moore; three sisters, Sheila Nichols, Dawn Moorre-Moulden, Mqaggie Moore-Johnson; inlaws, Codice C., Roosevelt and Ike Willis, Joe Willie, Willie L. Wordly B. and Ruthie Johnson, Viola Foster.
Her parents and three grandchildren preceded in death.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m until time of service at 2 p.m. Thursday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of expenses.
