John William “Bill” Navin, 86, passed away at : am on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.
He was born on November 12, 1925 in Wolf Lake, IL, the son of John Andrew and Anna Catherine (Boyce) Navin.
He married Wanda Lou Lambert on June 26, 1949 in Piggot, Arkansas. She passed away May 10, 2011.
Bill served his country in the U.S. Air Corp from 1944 to 1946. He worked at Anna Dry Cleaners and St. Charles Manufacturing until his retirement on February 28, 1991. He was a member of the American Legion.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Randy Lynn and Vicki Navin of Litchfield; a daughter, Lynda Janice Navin of Olney; a grandson, Randy Lynn Navin, Jr.; three great grandchildren, Shelton, Nolan and Garrett Navin; a brother and sister-in-law, Lynn D. and Sunghi Navin of Colorado Springs, CO; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Jim McLean of Margate, FL and his nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, John Andrew Navin II and one brother, Charles W. Navin.
