Larry Wilbur Greeling, 71, died at 4:48 a.m. on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at his residence.
He was born October 8, 1950, in Alton the son of the late Wilbur and Fern (Belk) Greeling. He was a machinist for many years with Frank Lynn Inc. On June 21, 2012, in Edwardsville, he married Patricia Nuzum and she survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Hannah Tannler of Alton, three sons, Jason Greeling of Bunker Hill, Brian Greeling of Bunker Hill and Dane Tannler of Alton, one sister, Rita Heins of Bethalto and three brothers, Roger Greeling (Lisa) of Godfrey, Don Greeling (Veronica) of Brighton and John Greeling of Jacksonville.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Greeling.
Memorial visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Memorials may be made to the 5A’s Animal Shelter or the Susan B. Komen Cancer Foundation. Additional information and online guest book may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
