James H. "Buggs" Broderick, 58, of Benld, IL, died at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, IL on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at 6:03 pm.
He was born October 10, 1963, in Litchfield, IL to Charles L. Broderick & Colene Kay (Kaskutas) Broderick. He worked for American Steel. James was founder of ATV club, Fuddy Muckers. He was a self taught hobby mechanic, hard worker, billiard player, comedian, loving father and had proudest title of Paw-Paw.
He is survived by his father, Charles L. Broderick of Benld, IL, daughter, Amanda "Mae" Broderick of Gillespie, IL, son, Keith (Marcela) Brooks of St. Louis, MO, grandchildren, Molly Emmenderfer, Daniel "Buster" Hearn, Amara Welch of Gillespie, IL, Brogen Brooks of St. Louis, MO, sister, Jennifer (Brian) Burgnone of Holiday Shores, IL, partner for 34 years, Wendy Broderick of Gillespie, IL, in laws, Irene and Gordon Nessl of Litchfield, IL, sisters in law, Paula (Vincent) Weber of Woodburn, IL, Dale (Brian) Sellers of Benld, IL, brother in law, Ben (Peg) Tarran of Birmingham, AL, several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
James was preceded in death by his mother, Colene Broderick, son, Cory Broderick, grandparents, Dorothy and Hank Kaskutas, Julia and Charles Broderick, Sr.
Friends may call on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie, IL from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Funeral services are Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie, IL. Burial will be at Benld Cemetery, Benld, IL.
