Eleanor Mae Brady, 74, died Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Calhoun Nursing and Rehab Center in Hardin.
She was born on September 26, 1945, one of six children born to the late Herbert Turner and Bernice Augusta (Kirchner) Patton.
A lifelong resident of Calhoun County, Eleanor graduated with the class of 1963 from Calhoun High School.
She married William Joseph 'Bill' Brady on April 15, 1967 in Hamburg and together they were blessed with nearly 34 years of marriage prior to his death on April 4, 2001.
Eleanor devoted her life to providing a loving home for her family. She enjoyed fishing, playing bingo and had a special place in her heart for animals.
Surviving are two sons, Lonnie Brady, and his fiancé Brenda Woods, of Mozier; Tony Brady, and his significant other Amitie Flynn, of Kampsville; three step sons and their spouses, Bill and Carla Brady of Jerseyville, David and Jill Brady of Jerseyville and Alan and Michelle Brady of Florida; a step-daughter, Theresa of Grafton along with their families; as well as a sister, Lois Craigmiles of Hardin.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son in infancy, Ronnie Brady; two brothers, Herbert and Robert Patton; as well as two sisters, Mildred McKinnon and Doris Sprong.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m., Saturday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.
Burial will follow at the Kane Cemetery.
