Doris Sprong, 76, passed away on August 29, 2018 at Calhoun Nursing and Rehab.
She was born on September 2, 1941 in Alton, the daughter of Herbert Turner & Bernice Augusta (Kirchner) Patton.
Doris married Richard Sprong in 1957 and he preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church of East Hardin and loved to play lotto tickets. She enjoyed watching the Demolition Derby, horseracing, tractor pulling and loved family outings.
Doris is survived by two sister, Lois Craigmiles and Eleanor Brady; and several nieces and nephews and a special friends, John, Diane, and Matt Spa.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred McKinnon, Herbert Patton, and a brother, Robert Patton.
Graveside services will be held at 11 am Saturday September 1, 2018 at Eldred Memorial Gardens in Eldred, IL.
Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
