Josephine “JoAnn” Anna LaMarsh, 74, passed away on Wednesday February 8, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Charles, MO.
She was born on December 9, 1942 in Meppen, IL, the daughter of Elmer & Esther (Bussen) Droege.
JoAnn married Robert LaMarsh on June 20, 1964 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Meppen and he preceded her in death on November 15, 1990.
She was a member of St Mary’s Catholic Church in Brussels, and loved to help with the Senior Citizens in Calhoun where she delivered meals.
JoAnn is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce & Tony Siemer of Batchtown, five sons and four daughters-in-law, Scott & Tracey LaMarsh of Meppen, Terry LaMarsh of Brussels, Mick & Christi LaMarsh of Hardin, Dennis & Michelle LaMarsh of Jerseyville, and Rob & Angie LaMarsh of Golden Eagle, 18 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Gress, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Brussels.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am Monday, February 13, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brussels with Fr. Don Roberts celebrant.
Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Brussels.
Memorials may be made to the Calhoun Ambulance or St. Mary’s School.
