Missy Lopez

Missy Lopez, 55 of Piasa, died unexpectedly at 6:01 A.M. on Monday, January 16, 2017 at home.

She was born to Ronald and Carlene (Bock) Dwyer on April 26, 1961 in Alton, Illinois.  They reside in Brighton.

Missy married Baldemar Lopez on August 3, 2007 in Jerseyville.  He survives and lives in Piasa.

She was a homemaker and past employee of the Brighton Pharmacy.  Her love was spending time with her grandchildren.  Missy also showed love for all animals.

Besides her husband and parents, survivors include 4 daughters and spouses; Tara (Rich) Kinser of Anderson S.C., Becky (Jason) Ironwing of Brighton, Sara (Caleb) Whorl of Alton, Ylica Lopez of Alton, 1 son and his fiancé; Cory Geisin and Anne King of Dorsey, 10 grandchildren, 2 brothers; Scott Dwyer of Brighton, Ron Dwyer of Brighton, Father in law; Tony C. (Carol) Lopez of Anderson S.C.

She was preceded in death by her brother; Michael Dwyer, mother in law; Lajuan Lopez

Memorial Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Targhetta & Wooldridge Funeral Home in Brighton

Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Targhetta & Wooldridge Funeral Home in Brighton
