Margaret Grider, 73, passed away at 10:08 a.m. Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City.

Born Apr. 18, 1942 in St. Louis, Mo., she was a daughter of Leroy Robert and Lorraine (Bailey) Thompson.

She had previously worked for Beverly Farms and The Uniform Shop.

Survivors include her sisters, Norma Jean McCane and Dorothy Thompson, both of Alton; her brother, Robert Leroy Thompson of Carrollton; and several nieces and nephews.
