Ralph Bruce Haven, 92, died at 1:50 p.m. Friday, January 1, 2016 at Eunice Smith Home in Alton. Born November 9, 1923 in Greenfield, IL, he was the son of R. B. and Jessie (Hodges) Haven. He served in the Marine Corps Aviation during WWII. He retired from Marine Transport Corp in New Jersey as Chief Marine Engineer. On July 1, 1954 he married the former Dorothy Armour in St. Louis, MO. She preceded him in death on September 21, 2012. Surviving is a step-daughter Ann Goodman of Godfrey, two grandchildren, Kenneth Goodman of Carlyle, IL and Gwen Goodman of Godfrey and three great granddaughters. Along with his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a son Roger Bruce Haven and a brother Vernon Haven. There will be no services.
