The City of Wood River is waiting on about $80,000 from the State of Illinois. That is how far behind the state is in payments from MFT and video-gaming funds, according to the city’s Director of Finance, Tracy Kennett.
He tells The Big Z as of now the city is ok.

Kennett says video gaming averages $8000 - $9000 a month in added income, adding up to about $80,000 per year. There are 53 terminals in Wood River at 12 different establishments.
