After returning home from war, soldiers of past generations would often have to hike home after their service ended. Many found the solitude of hiking to be therapeutic, but with modern transportation, the hike has all but vanished. One veteran is bringing that back through a project called Warrior Hike.
For veterans that can’t hike due to injury, founder Sean Gobin is experimenting with a paddling option.
