The deadline for voter registration is October 9th. Illinoisans can register at several locations including schools, the local library, driver's license facilities, and even by mail. Two forms of identification are necessary for registration; one must have a current home address on it. Anyone who misses the October 9th deadline can still vote in the election.
Grace period registration runs through November 3rd but anyone who registers during that time will have to vote on the same day they register.
