Alton Little Theater is bringing back Vintage Voices to the Alton City Cemetery for the 12th consecutive year. Each Saturday in October, a group of actors will portray famous, and sometimes imfamous Altonians, who are buried in the cemetery and share their story and impact on the city. Ten former residents, including three children, will be portrayed this year.

The walking tours are each Saturday this month, starting at 1pm and the last tour departs at 2:45pm...leaving about every 15 minutes through the cemetery which is handicapped accessible. Tickets are $12 for adults, and $6 for students and can also be purchased at the Vine Street entrance to the cemetery or in advance at the Alton CVB Office in downtown Alton.
A special non-walking tour and dessert buffet will be held at Alton Little Theater on October 13 with performances at 1pm and 3pm. Advance tickets can be reserved at Alton Little Theater at 462-3502. For more information, go to www.altonlittletheater.org
