The annual Jersey County Victorian Festival returns this week after being rained out last year.  It's billed as a living history event that promotes the educational, historical and cultural aspects of our agricultural history and furthers education with Civil War re-enactments and encampments.  It is held each year at the Fulkerson Mansion, just north of Jerseyville and runs through Monday.

There will be working crafts and demonstrations, antiques, a tour of 1866 Fulkerson Mansion, a variety of food and bluegrass music.  Admission is $10 for adults, and children 12 and under are free.  Parking is also free.  For more information, call 498-5590 or follow the link
