The Southwest Illinois Division of The United Way of Greater St. Louis has set its fundraising goal for the 2016 campaign. The charity is hoping to raise $1.79-million before it wraps up in early November. This goal is slightly higher than last year's goal of $1.6-million.

The Southwest Illinois Division of United Way of Greater St. Louis serves Madison, Macoupin, Jersey, Greene and Calhoun counties, and helped more than 180,000 people last year. Thirty-eight health and human service organizations are supported by the Southwest Illinois Division’s annual fundraising campaign.
