Two Missouri men have been charged in connection with what investigators believe to be a series of counterfeiting incidents in Alton. 32-year-old Eric D. Marion of St. Louis and 20-year-old Dion Price of Ferguson are each charged with single counts of Forgery and Aggravated Unlawful Use of Weapons.
The forgery charges allege the pair passed the fake $100 bills at Family Dollar, Big Lots, Dollar Tree and Advanced Auto Parts. The weapons charge accuses them of illegally carrying a 9mm handgun at the time of their arrest. Bond for each has been set at $75,000.
