It will cost two-percent more for incoming freshmen and current graduate students to attend Northern Illinois University.  University trustees approved the increase which will bring the cost of tuition for an in-state freshman to about 91-hundred dollars, not including fees, room and board.

Under state law, the tuition will remain the same for the four years of an undergraduate's attendance.  Graduate student tuition rises to 342-dollars a credit hour; law students will pay 651-dollars per credit hour.
