Trick or Treating starts in a couple of weeks, and local law enforcement wants you and your family to stay safe. There are the usual precautions of traveling the neighborhood in groups and checking your children’s treats before they are allowed to eat them. One local officer also has a few cautions about their costumes.
In particular, East Alton Sgt. Mike McCormick tells The Big Z you may want to consider face paint over a traditional mask.
