A timeline has been set for the construction of the new Wood River Police Department building. The new police station will be about 20-thousand square feet and would include a communications center, eight cells, a sally port, a workout room and locker room and a training facility that could be used by other departments.
Wood River Police Chief Otis Steward says the paperwork portion of the process is nearing completion.
