You can try and sell your crafts, antiques, specialty items, or most any other items at the Alton Park & Recreation Department’s Tailgate Sale this Saturday, October 10. It’s a follow-up to the inaugural tailgate sale that was held in the spring, but this time it will be held at the parking lot at the corner of Henry Street and Landmarks Boulevard, sharing space with the Alton Farmers’ and Artisans’ Market.
Alton Park & Recreation Executive Director Mike Haynes tells The Big Z the event in May was a success.

Haynes says unpackaged foods, firearms and vehicles are among the items you cannot sell Saturday. The sale runs from 7am-noon. Advance registration is required to be a vendor, and it’s $10 per parking spot. For more information, call 463-3580 or follow the link at this story at AltonDailyNews.com
