Four local students will be heading to college with $16,000 scholarships at their disposal. Phillips 66 announced the awards this week. The students reflects the company's commitment to the community, and its corporate vision of improving lives, according to Melissa Erker, Director of Government and Community Affairs at the Wood River Refinery.

She tells The Big Z the scholarships are good at any two or four-year institution of their choosing. Scholarship winners are: Cameron Foust from EA / WR High School, Chase Langendorf from Metro-East Lutheran High School, Shane Nichols from Marquette Catholic High School, and Chase Zezoff from Granite City High School. All are children of Phillips 66 employees.
