The tornado that tore through mostly rural parts of Carrollton last weekend serves as an opportunity for a local weather expert to remind you to stay alert when the weather has the potential to turn rough. Nell says you should try to make sure everyone knows where to go if there is a severe thunderstorm or tornado in the area, whether it be in you basement, a bathroom with no windows, or under a heavy piece of furniture.
