The Illinois Department of Public Health wants you to get tested for HIV, especially if you are a member of an at-risk group. Illinois Public Health Director, Doctor Nirav Shah, says it's estimated one in seven people infected with HIV don't know it, and more than half of those ages 13-24 are unaware they are living with the infection.
He says the time to get tested is now.
