The Illinois Department of Employment Security says the state added nine-thousand private sector jobs in June.  It rose from 9.1 to 9.2 percent from May to June, according to the Illinois Department of Employment Security – not a number that should be embraced, says spokesman Greg Rivara, but not a shock either.

Rivara comments

The state has added almost 238-thousand jobs in the private sector since January of 2010.  That's when job growth returned after nearly two years of monthly declines.
